Dwarka has been demarcated as a residential colony by the Delhi Development authority (DDA) about 15 years back and today the township consists of flats built both by DDA and the private builder societies. In all Dwarka has about 460 housing societies.
According to RK Yadav, a real estate consultant, Dwarka's vicinity to the IGI Airport and various other locales like Janakpuri and Delhi Cantonment have attributed to the rising real estate costs in Dwarka. Also various shopping malls and multiplexes are being planned in Dwarka, which would raise the
living standards further.
Moreover Dwarka offers residential options for both the lower and middle-income groups. Price of a residential unit starts with Rs 10 lakhs and goes up to RS 85 lakhs. Thus it could be quite a profitable event if you invest your property in Dwarka.
